Sold
Vintage silverface Princeton Reverb, 1979/80 model with original handwired circuit, fitted with a 12” WGS G12C/S smoothcone speaker. Thanks to the 12” speaker this amp is louder than your average Princeton, a bit heavier at 40lbs, and sounds fantastic. I got it in January from @dcg on the forum but I have too many amps and the band isn’t doing any gigs just now, obviously, so this isn’t getting much use.

The amp is in very nice condition for its age. It has Mogami send and return reverb cables and a new two-button footswitch for the lovely reverb and tremolo. I’ve also just had it serviced by JB Amp Repairs in Poole and it will come with the service receipt. Work carried out as follows:

All tubes tested
V1 tube replaced
Bias checked OK
Cathode bypass caps replaced
Bias cap replaced
Pots cleaned
Speaker jack cleaned
Speaker wires resoldered
Reverb tested ok trem ok.

Price drop to £1,000, was £1,100. Edit - price now back up to £1,100 to reflect the cost of the service I’ve just had done! Shipping cost not included but I have a box and tons of bubble wrap and I can pack up the amp for a buyer to arrange a courier, at their own cost and risk, to collect from me.

Thanks for looking.
