Gutted to read the news today that the former Cardiff City, Blackburn and Villa midfielder has passed away at the age of 35.

He'd been critical in hospital since March 7th when he'd suffered a fall whilst out at a pub in Barry, near Cardiff.

Absolutely gutted. As a Cardiff supporter I've seen him play numerous times. A gifted midfielder with a sweet left foot, but also a great ambassador for the club and a quietly spoken family man.

Thoughts with his young family.

Although I would argue that he never reached his peak, which would have seen him play for the County.
