Don't know how many fans of John Prine there are on here. I've been have fan for years and have seen him live a few times. It looks like John who has had his health problems and is in his 70's is in a critical condition with Covid. Hang in there John.

Really sad to hear of his passing. I got into Prine's music about five years ago when  I became a primarily acoustic player.

A great songwriter. It was through listening to Prine that I got into people like Steve Goodman, Guy Clark and others.



Rest in peace John.

Very sad. My first band covered Hello In There, a song that tugged very hard on my heartstrings.

One of the great song writers of my time. I think it all rather sad when you are a 2 x cancer survivor still writing and enjoying life and then along comes Corona Virus no justice. RIP JP
