Great guitar that I just haven't gelled with.  Going back to a Tele.  So if you have a Tele 50's or 60's spec but not with vintage frets, (they are just too small for me) we might talk a deal.  Or if you'd like to just buy it £675 posted uk.  It will come with the Ibanez shaped hard case.  The images have a bit more red in them than there actually is.  The colour is mellower....as befits a 'Jazz' guitar.....nice.

Yup, I've owned and Yamaha SA2200 and a Gibson 359 and it's as good as either of them.

How does it compare with the SA2200?

Chunkier neck....the Yam was quite slim.  Phyically a smidge smaller/lighter.  Plyability, the same.  Both really easy.

So, I know it’s really hard.. but could you describe the neck and give a few more comparisons??? Also, what is it that you don’t like?? Is the sound too soft, the action too right??

I'll try.  The neck is somewhere between a chunky 50's and slim 60's Gibson.  I'd call it a comfortable c profile.  It plays great, easy low action with nice big frets.  Humbuckers are (I'd say) medium output, very articulate.

If I had to identify what I haven't gelled with, it would be the physical size.  I've had mainly Strats and Tele's for most of my playing life (over 40 years now), and I guess I'm a creature of habit.  Doesn't stop me from trying something different from time to time though.  I've had this guitar for about 6 months or so and I just don't play it as much as my Strat...which is the guitar I always reach for (and play every day).

    So nothing sinister, just preference.

Thanks mate. I seem to be on a hunt for the perfect semi (insert Sid James laugh here), Over the years I’ve tried quite a few. It’s nearly always the neck that doesn’t work for me... I prefer the Gibson 60 slim taper profile but just can’t justify paying out just for a logo in the headstock. I have a feeling yours would be a bit too chunky again. Regards anyway. Stay safe.

@4on6 ;  20.8mm at the first fret and 23.8mm at the 12th fret.  That will give you something to compare to.
