FS: Oil City Tubesnake Masterwound Humbuckers. £150 for the pair.

For sale is a paired set of Oil City “Tubesnake” humbuckers.  These are hand made in London and are from Oil City’s ‘Masterwound’ series with 4 conductor hook up wire, finished in raw nickel with hex pole screws (the raw nickel and hex screws were a special order).  The nickel has started to age really nicely as you can see in the pictures.  The readings are 7.7 for the neck and 8.42 for the bridge. 

Oil City describe these as “slightly fat and aggressive PAFs with an alnico2 magnet for sweet highs and a buttery low end”.  Full details here:
