Anyone know how to clean marker pen off a child's face?

Johnson's baby lotion, cotton wool and elbow grease. 
I really hate the smell of baby lotion. 
I'm not guaranteeing the method but that's the standard approach to stuff like that.

It rubs the lotion into its flesh. Or else it gets the hose again.

Edit: shown her the picture, will work but she may well get a rash, stupid thing to have done,etc.

It's okay. It's mostly gone now, with just a bit of soap. Put the phone down

Rubbing alcohol, if you can find some for sale (not easy in the UK), or just soap and water (It'll be gone after a few tries). Or just buy him an eye patch to complete the look.

Stop scribbling on your child's face would be a start.

Alcohol hand cleaner will dissolve most of the ink. Rubbing the resultant grey mess may spread it across the affected surface. 

On-site scaffolding safety checkers use this method to economise on the plastic tags.

Surgical spirit (it’s the same as rubbing alcohol ) it’s quite good at removing stuff like this. Easily available usually . It’s real good  I use it when dealing with my ingrowing toenails and other things that could get infected
