Tried it this evening with our 4 piece (guitar/Vox, guitar, bass, drums).  

It worked, after a fashion.  Drummer couldn’t connect and there were technical challenges with sound balance, video link and chat mics. There there didn’t seem to be too much lag, which was my biggest worry.

Guitar/vocals had to go through a single mic picking up a live amp and the singer, which wasn’t ideal.  The software only seems to accept a single input per computer.

My wife is a singing/piano teacher and having to try Skype lessons. As she normally accompanies singing pupils on piano, the latency thing is a real issue but this looks like it could address that.

Any teachers tried this app for that purpose as with just 2 people, on paper, it looks do-able?
