SOLD: Fender 70s American Original Telecaster Custom £1149

Hi

For sale is my Fender 70s American Original Telecaster Custom in 3TS. The fretboard is a really nice dark piece of rosewood and it must weigh somewhere around 7lbs8oz (although I don't have scales to accurately weigh it at the moment, this is just from experience). The guitar is in excellent condition with just the odd surface mark/pick marks on the pickguard, no big dings or anything unsightly. It also comes with the original hardcase which is also in excellent condition as pictured and all case candy. Collection would be preferred, I'd be willing to meet a reasonable distance. Any questions you may have are welcomed. Anyway, here's the pics (the burst looks slightly more red in these pictures than in reality):

It's one of the new ones with the CuNiFe pickups, isn't it? I've been looking at these for a while... How's that neck pickup then? GLWTS!

Yeah it is indeed. I'm not normally a humbucker guy but I really like this one, it doesn't sound muddy at all. I tend to use it more than the bridge pickup to be honest.

That's cool. They're redoing the CuNiFe pickups now? Is the a Deluxe in the range?

Yeah it's the proper CuNiFe wide range humbucker in the neck. I don't think they're doing the Deluxe in the American Original series, just in the Mexican Vintera series.

I'm waiting for a deluxe. I'd put decent money on Fender releasing either a deluxe or deluxe thinline American Original next year

They are already there, as a limited edition.
I am waiting for the pickups to become available separately, but I'm afraid it won't happen soon, if ever.
