Writing for transposing instruments.

I write a lot of music. Usually for guitar, bass, vocal etc.

But the kids are starting to ask me to write for them too - they play sax ( e-flat) and clarinet (b-flat).

Is there any cheap software, like the student version of Sibelious etc, that would do the transposition for me if I write the part for a C instrument?

Any ideas? I've got some nice guitar harmony stuff that might be fun to re-arrange for other instruments.

Tabledit will do that for you. I use it to create tabs and then both switch key and tuning Standard/DADGAD/Drop D and mandolin etc.

I use Sibelius First, which is a cheap version that came bundled with a keyboard. You can quickly transpose parts by interval or by key. There is also some facility for transposing instruments as mentioned by the OP but I’ve never got round to using it.

Musescore will do it and it's free. In fact I prefer it to the full version of Sibelius, which I used to use.
