Question for the electronic-minded :)

hi guys, just wondering if someone here can help me as I'm really basic on this electronics thing.

I'm trying to make a stereo jack work as a dpdt .. is that possible?

I have a Paul C. Tim and the plan is to remotely control the boost function (I'm planning to use my DPC-5 for that)

So the boost switch works at the moment using 2 lanes from the 3pdt, see below:

I thought with some basic trickery I'd be able to replace one of the loop jacks in the back of the pedal with a stereo jack and hook it up with my dpc-5 controller?

It looks like one of the lanes control the boost, while the other just turn the boost led on?

Bad idea?

Well, made it work now (using a relay) can change the pedal channel via trs cable. Will take pics this weekend
