Sharing some shreddy stuff/ideas I've been working on (video/tab) - Updated!

Following from posting stuff in someone else's thread, I thought I'd make my own if anyone is interested. These are just little ideas I've either had for ages or have started mucking about with more in lockdown. Sound quality does get better in the last couple as I slowly figure out how to improve the audio 

1) Tapping idea - using mainly two but then 4 right hand fingers. I use the pattern with two fingers all the time.

2) Picking/muting thing - slight Nuno-esque.

3) Picking/muting thing pt.2 but played a tiny bit better!

5) Sweeps with taps but taps behind the sweeps. Just sounds silly so I like it

6) Bending the string off the neck. Yes, it can go wrong, but when it doesn't, it's cool.

no tab - you just tap on the high E and tweak it off the neck. Very carefully. 

7) Couple of sweep ideas; 2nd one still in it's infancy but when it works it sounds cool.

8) Tapping shapes I use all the time. Probably too much. I forgot what I was doing in this one then suddenly remembered, hence the pause partway through! Tbh I think these are fairly commonplace but I like them!

9) More tapping ideas. First one dead easy, second one I've put up here before I think but it sounds neat and better in this one.

(the bit in brackets in the second part is just something I added in by accident but kept as it sounded neat).

Such awesome technique,  well played sir.  

Really like the tone in #8 can you describe how you get it? 

And what's that little switch on the guitar for?

Cheers mate  It’s just the JCM800 patch on the AX8; really nice sound and I use it for 90% of the time. The switch is a coil tap, so with the 5-way switch you get 10 sounds. I started that one on neck single coil and switched to bridge humbucker part way through. It’s a particularly sweet sounding guitar, which is why I’ve barely played anything else for months!

btw. Although the audio gets better, the later clips are hard panned left, Was that intentional?
