    That's fab - I'm loving the "96 Tears" :)

Brilliant to see EHX back to doing what they do best (making bonkers pedals) rather than overdrive clones.

I've been waiting for this to appear since they teased it a couple of weeks ago.

Watched the first couple of minutes. Slightly concerned I couldn't see his picking hand, I have a feeling it might need a pretty clean playing style! So, that's me out... :( But, yes, brilliant pedal really. A Micro Pog is £140 and, presumably, the internal gubbins here are from the POG/ Micro POG lineage so I'm guessing that price?

  • I want one of those, but then I really wanted a Pog2 for the same sounds & that was shite (imho).

Yeah, I was a little disappointed by the POG2. I really like the idea of guitar synths and gadgets that really change the sound, but I have always felt like they are a bit gimmicky when I've tried to use them in a band situation.

List price in the US is nearly $300. Suspect this may not be in the Micro Pog price bracket by the time it gets here

Thats a brilliant piece of kit. I can see a lot of uses for this in my future.

I had a Pog 2 and could do great organ sounds but only really massive chords that I'd swell in using the attack slider or my volume pedal. For regular picked parts it wasn't quite there, but that's partly down to playing a guitar like a guitar not playing a guitar like an organ.

There's a great clip on youtube of a guy using a Pog 2 doing a great organ impression, but his technique is really a big part of making it sound like an organ, rather than a guitar through an FX pedal.

This new one looks like it might be easier to use as it's really changing the attack of the notes and that click control looks interesting.

The part in the new EHX vid where he's going into a driven amp for a Jon Lord sound is just what I want!

Ooh. 2 posts for this and I've already said I like it in the other one.

I could use this in what I do but not sure if going for a Roland GR-55 would be better as there are more sounds/keyboard options. However, costs more and then you have the faff of the MIDI pickup and MIDI connectors/leads. Mmm, the EHX could be just the thing and I like the sound layering thing with it sitting behind your guitar sounds.

    Brilliant pedal.
I would wait for them to turn up used though.
Most people will buy it and realise their chordal knowledge isn't good enough to be able to make it sound like a proper organ and then end up selling them on.
It is always the way with these sorts of pedals.

This is one of the best sounding though, based on the video- it is a bit pitchy in places.

Gosh this sounds great. The Jon Lord tone oh yes.

  • Think this works like a VG8/VG88 - ie it processes the actual guitar note rather than identifying pitch and generating a new sound. This will mean no lag. Either way, don't care. Want. NOW.
