Ah I used to have a 2018 and didn’t get along with the binding. I felt it made the neck feel wider and more squared off!

Try an earlier model, there’s some variation in the necks of the newer ones imo. 

Models from the first two years are spot on.

the Standard is a great guitar, and now quite hard to find; it was my first DGT (followed by 3 others, two of which - incredibly -  I still have).  The variation in the necks is something you need to be aware of, and find what you best like: my 2008 goldtop is certainly narrower than my 2015 whitetop.  I've never tried the bound neck variant, but guess you eventually work around it - or take some 0000 steel wool to it.  BTW, the @cahrlie DGT is lovely https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/172068/fs-2018-prs-dgt-unplayed-as-new#latest

Got a vintage White one with moons, it's a 2017 though so it has binding. Looks the dogs though..... Could be tempted to sell as my Pete Thorn isn't gaining much attention.
