A little chord melody

BradBrad Frets: 659
I recently discovered the brilliant Chuck Wayne and had to learn his arrangement of the Gershwin tune ‘Someone To Watch Over Me’. Could be a little cleaner in places, so I might do it again once it’s under my fingers a bit more. Like many due to lockdown, I’m looking to get more of an online thing going so free to like/dislike/follow/subscribe... or not

Very nice indeed, well played, nice fingerstyle playing, it's a bit brighter sounding than most Jazz chord melody I hear, but still a nice tone. Good stuff, you've obviously played a lot.

Thanks for the kind words @GuyBoden. Yeah I agree about the tone, on anything other than an archtop (which I don’t own) I find I lose definition and response with the tone rolled off too much (think it’s around 6-7 here). An archtop is definitely the sound I’d have in my head for this kind of stuff.
