To be fair, the other troll in there is quiet too. They have sort of cancelled themselves out. I’d be worried an odd number would bring imbalance to the force. We’d have to put two in at a time

I think forum users by nature are opinionated and a bit gobby. That's maybe a reason why we like to publish our views etc. I know I can be, but I try not to be. I have no-one on ignore. I tried it ages ago, but kept reading what I'd ignored! 

I bet almost all the people who act the berk on a forum are probably spot on if you met face to face. The internet gives us a veil to accentuate our personalities, so can be easy to become a caricature of yourself.

It's not just that. Several people here love to hurt others. In whatever way they can. Bleating about how they've got this that and the other person on ignore, or lolstalking them, or derailing their threads, etc etc.

Oh, I'd hope that's not the case. That's very sad. There is clearly enough misery in the world at the moment, I can't understand the mentality of actively wanting to be a git for the sake of it.

I'm afraid I've 2 people on ignore. Just this week. Really do agree with the sentiments that I shouldn't. But I'm happier reading than I was. Short term answer probably until my mood improves again.

I love the idea that if you go full troll you might login one day and find yourself banished under the bridge, forced to troll or be trolled with the other trolls like Huis Clos or summat
