This film. Shat myself when I first saw it at around ten years old, but it put me on course to being a big fan of horror films ever since.

My friend's errant 16 year old sister ..............I thought it was great when she used to get me in their Summerhouse and let me feel her tits (I was  13 ) but you've never seen anybody get out of a summerhouse so fast when I was so busy with my new puppies and felt my fly  being opened and a hand trying to get in ! She shouted after me and called me "a little scared Scout "
I was too scared to go to their next Bar -B -Q but she had a truly amazing body .
We ended up living together for 7 years until I was 27 and she was 30 .......and had a brief affair 5 years later .
I hadn't seen her for nearly 30 years but a fat old lady I didn't know came up and put her arms around me 2 years ago at my Mum's funeral and as she kissed my cheek I knew that smell so well !

@axisus ; Plus 100 for Jason and the Argonauts - still one of my favourite films ever. That moment when the statue of Talos first turns its head on the plinth - that sent shivers down my spine when I was a kid.

I love animated skeletons!  My favourite thing about those old films like the 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts.

This proper shit me up as a kid. Looks like a joke now.

That was the first film which freaked me out so much that I almost blacked out.  The bit where his friend visits him in the hospital and his face and neck are all ripped up.

It's only happened to me three or four times since (not in American Werewolf).

From the title I thought it was going to be a follow up to 'Is a finger up the butt the most thrilling thing ever?"

  • The Singing Ringing Tree for me. The dwarf and that fish that would stick its head out of the pond and talk gave me the shivers.

I still remember the first time I ever had a nightmare as a kid - the night after seeing the Cybermen for the first time.

Who dat? Both character and actor. Genuinely no idea.

It seems ridiculous now but in 1975 ‘Jaws’ terrified a generation (I was 12 at the time).  Kids wouldn’t get into the swimming pool.
