I was remembering something similar when this story surfaced yesterday.  I don't recall the details and I'm not trying to apply 20:20 hindsight to say "I knew he was a wrong 'un", but he definitely said things which left an unfavourable impression on me.

I'd wager this was the straw that broke the camels back. This guy has come off as an arrogant prick in interviews, e.g. made some comment about not liking Mayer's "girly songs" when he was a Fender artist.

It is. It's actually not as bad as I remembered it being. I still don;t think I'd particulalry want to hang out with him though....
