    Sad to hear of this, Willie was my favourite player back in the day. I got int pot black in the 70s and used to watch it with my mum, and then I got into Snooker big time when it all went colour and the World Champs were on every year. Happy days.

    Snooker seemed full of personality back then, every player was interesting. I kind of went off of the sport around 2000 and have rarely watched it since. The only current player I could name is Ronnie.
