Anyone into Djent/tech metal? (new band)

I'm really enjoying Tiberius's debut album that has just come out. The singer Grant Barclay is superb, my favourite new singer I've heard in many a year, he can belt it out but remains melodic.

I was expecting that to be heavier based on the thread title, but I enjoyed that, a good vocalist makes a huge difference and this guy is great, made me think of Myles Kennedy from the first few notes.

I have to admit that I'm rather lost with 'metal' related genre's these days, I took that from some reviewers description of the album. The only thing that falls a bit short for me is that I love guitar solos but they don't do any.

Enjoyed that. Sometimes the screaming djent gets a bit much but the vocalist here was great and kept a tune going!

Metal genres/subgenres are really difficult to define/separate, I'd say this band have a few hands in the 'power metal' side of things, well the singer does and he's the best thing about the band.

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed it much more than I expected to do so.

It's good, but it seemed to drag a bit in the middle without a guitar solo or something to grab the attention.
