Can anyone suggest somewhere I could source cardboard speaker boxes from? The type speakers come in from new.

Someone asked this before. Same answer, give Blackstar a ring, they get samples all the time so I am sure they could spare you a couple of cartons.

Is it for posting speakers or just for storage?

For posting speakers I buy the big 24x24x24" double ply boxes on ebay and slice them up into 12" long strips to wrap around each speaker. This protects the cone. You can wrap 8 speakers with just one box.

Then I wrap the wrapped speakers in large bubblewrap and put them inside 14"x14" boxes, which are ideal for posting pairs of 12" speakers. Or get the 12"x12" boxes if you are posting 10" speakers. Cut them down to size if you are only posting one speaker.
