This is a special set that Ash made for me that was supposed to go in a guitar project for a friend that never came to fruition
It was the Transonic model in F spacing/52mm - so the model that is a faithful interpretation of the Super Distortion pickup that transformed late 70s and early 80s rock and metal.
The neck pickup was something that Ash reckoned would be a great partner for it - great for riffage and fluid soloing
Based on a Scrap Yard Dog Plus, so we called it the Eddie as the Scrap Yard Dog was nicknamed Sid (SYD) and Eddie was the larger partner of the comedy duo little and Large (often called Sid and Eddie).
