Yeah I loved all of them for various reasons. With an eye on playing live again at some point, I just wanted a simple solution. Liked the idea of helix but hated the sounds, so the Preamp benefits from more presets than I'll need and sounds incredible across the board. I dare say I'll go chasing another drive at some point, but the Preamp will be paired with a Golden Eagle and a Micro Amp for boosting and a bit more colour to each preset and I think that's enough. For anything higher gain I'll just use channel 2 or 3 of my 5150 and you don't need pedals with that at all.

For the Preamp MKII all I'd say is you wouldn't regret it, and it's pretty easy to justify the cost when you start breaking down the elements of the pedal and how usable it is.
