If you think you’ve see this advert before, you probably have! I had it up here for sale in 2016.

I then bought it back in 2018.

It’s back up again as I just struggle with the fender scale length, so am now focussing on gibson scale or jag types. 

So this is a Haar 58 classic s-type.  It’s a one piece alder body finished in 3 tone nitro and with light ageing to the body and hardware. Hand carved AAAAA birdseye maple neck and fretboard with the neck having a very smooth matte finish and a nice C profile. Fitted with a bone nut.

Haar tremolo bridge and kluson gotoh tuners in nickel finish, with Amber 61 pickups and parchment pickup covers and knobs.

Minimal fretwear, and I have not accidentally added to any of the ageing!    

The neck is a decent handful. I've just measured it with some verniers and can say that it's:

 Width at nut = 42.3mm

Neck thickness at nut = 0.88"

 Width at 12th fret = 52.5mm

Neck thickness at 12th fret = 0.975"  

And on this shape card I'd say it's a "Medium V", as it is supposed to be a 58 Strat-a-like.

Edit - I have just weighed the guitar on calibrated scales, and can confirm it weighs a near perfect 3.5kg or 7.7 lbs


£1200 or very near offer. The only part exchange that I’d entertain is for a shorter scale beastie.
