Multi FX for my son

My son is 13 next week and has been playing for almost a year now. 

For his birthday I was thinking about getting a little multi fx unit for him to play. At the momeny he's just playing through the clean channel on a little Vox Pathfinder.

Any suggestions?

You basically can't go wrong with Boss or Zoom.

Many years ago I bought my son a Korg AX3G FX pedal and he loved it. He mainly wanted to simulate electric guitar with an acoustic (might have been other way around but the Korg does both!)

Was about a nifty, doubt it is current any more but Korg have a good name.

Not quite enough budget for a GT1 or a G3.

I'd probably go Zoom G1X Four.

You could try a Mooer GE150 though I had a GE200 and sent it back because I didn't really like it.

I haven't, but pay with Paypal and you'll be fine.  Don't forget you'll most likely be stung for VAT, duty and handling charges on top of that so about another £30

Something like a Pod XT Live is still a great fx and within budget used?

There’s a few pod x3 on ebay at the mo. 

I bought my lad a Digitech RP360 but i can’t see it on their site today. Thats a good sounding simple to use fx, i think it was about a ton and it has a drum machine and a looper
