    Same here.

    @terada that looks amazing.

Re: the St. Vincent; I think it's amazing because it's so difficult to come up with a new design that isn't just a copy or slight variation on the classics and have it look good and that guitar is a completely new design and looks great.

Surprised about the misogyny mention though, I can't remember ever seeing any in relation to that guitar.

It's the f-hole. Looks like a birth defect.

Or it's been punched in by accident by a clumsy worker who has left one side of a 335 without one.

I’d never make a negative post about someone’s guitar in a normal thread but I think it’s different here. I wouldn’t post a pic unless I thought I’d get votes on both sides and I’d wear my lols as a badge of honour.

Still makes you a gent mind :)

Headless as mentioned are very marmite guitars, here's my self built headless midi hidden tuners guitar:

A river runs through it.  (I'll just let myself out...)

Headless guitars are always Marmite, as are unconventional body shapes.

This one reminds me of Monty Python. Oi "who you calling big nose"

This is my G&L CLF Research Doheny V12. Basswood body and MFD humbuckers that switch independently from single coil, series and parallel. It doesn't sound anything like a jazzmaster, but I love the shape and colour, the photo doesn't do it justice.

Endless hours messing with this, and is definitely it's own guitar. I mostly have it set up with the neck in parallel and the bridge in a single coil mode.  It's got medium jumbo frets holds a note really well.

It loves tweed style amps most from my experience. But it's ffffing awesome with everything cranked up and fuzzed out but equally suited to super clean twangy country.

I think it's marmite because it's a G&L and has funky electrics! I love it!

If that's Marmite, I am definitely on the love it side of the fence. Always had a thing for Shergold's.
That's almost how I like my Marmite - but here you can still see some bare toast poking through.

In a more serious note: is this the same guitar on The Church's singles collection?
No that is a 12 string. Like this one...
    That's the one!

Yeah, but why would you want to carry it? Best left in the case.

  • Pieces of this are now scattered all over North America(literally, the body was re-purposed into a 6 string guitar with a Les Paul copy bolt on neck and was last seen in Victoria BC.  Somebody in Illinois US has the pick ups, some of the hardware and neck were last seen in Ontario Canada etc...., I bought it for cheap in a second hand store in Vancouver in around 1980 and tolerated it as a bass until I got a new jazz bass copy that was much more play-able.   A previous owner painted the huge fret markings and the tin pick guard with what I suspect was a brush and some house paint.  It was a horror to play, I nearly needed therapy.....

If I had a pic then I would post a pic of my long gone Ovation Breadwinner.

Still have this though..... and it's Marmite colour.

Still have this and no-one else on the forum is even vaguely interested in buying it, despite it having been available for several, if not many, yonks.

    That’s not a Breadwinner it’s a venom I think.
