Any VW Beetlette fans

What's Hot
Yes I did spell it right. Beetlette not Beetle.
It was apparently an car VW dealers bought in 1981 at end of Beetle production for showrooms. Has a Briggs and Stratton engine which drives ok child size. Anyone know anything?

In 37 years of growing up as a mechanics son, I’ve never heard of it.

That’s where I bought it from.
Been finding out more, they were made by a company called Racing Strikes in Cornwall. And some models were sold in Harrodsburg and Hamlyns for the rich.

  • Sorry for resurrecting this old thread.
Been in storage at work for a while as I had been furloughed. So got it out of shed today.
Removed all the sign writing as I will be putting radio logo and details on etc.
Hopefully have it all ready to go in June for some local events.
The radio that was in it, didn’t work and as the aerial had broken off didn’t even check it. As it’s a MW/LW radio will it still pick up fm or should I bang in a radio cassette in keeping with age of car in it?
