    @stickyfiddle ; thank you!
    Not a problem!

    I love how you manage to get the kind of twang out of the middle pickup of a rosewood-board strat that most would demand a telecaster bridge for

    You've got some pretty cool Fenders. Love the maximum darkness T shirt. Saw Man on that tour. Every changing line up of perm any 5 or 6 from about 12 it seemed. Micky Jones, Deke Leonard obviously and I seem to remember John Cipolina joined them on that tour. Zakk Wylde was not the first to have concentric black and white rings on his guitar. Deke Leonard had his tele like that first. One of the great bands to come out of Wales, along with Budgie.

    And if you check out his FB page "The Twang Dynasty - Deke Leonard" here's what he said:

    I WONDER WHERE MY STOLEN '59 TELECASTER IS NOW?

    Every now and again, when I catch myself unawares, I think about my '59 Telecaster, my trusty zebra-striped Tele with its two cut-outs. That guitar had travelled with me a long way, since nigh on the beginning of my musical career. It had been my companion on thousands of gigs, umpteen TV appearances, including The Old Grey Whistle Test, most of the MAN and ICEBERG albums, all the U.S. tours and all around Europe and the U.K. It was an extension of me. And it was stolen on 14th December, 1993 from a 'secure' dressing room at the club Hoppegarden Der Kulturwerkstatt in Hamm, Germany run by a guy called Uli Holesch who, apparently, is still the proprietor. It was a strange affair. Fact - earlier in the day, Uli had been proudly showing me his guitar collection. Fact - When we went to find some food, leaving our guitars 'secured' in a closed club, my Tele was stolen. I cast no aspersions here, as I never had any evidence to support my wild theory at the time. But the police didn't want to know and Uli couldn't explain the mystery. Suffice to say, it was gone. As I said, I try not to dwell on it, but on occasions, it pops into my head when I least expect it and I wonder if it misses me as much as I miss it.

  • @Devil#20 i knew deke and played with him about 7 times a lovely bloke and that Tele was iconic as is his SG...he replaced it with a blue 70s Tele which was also a nice Tele and he said it played like his old one
