Dave Grohl Needed for National Foo Fighters Trib band

Sorry if this is the wrong place. Just wanted people to see it!

We are a Foo Fighters tribute band operating at a national level with a number of festivals etc.. booked for next year. We are doing about 30 gigs a year all over the country and need a Dave Grohl to complete our lineup.

You don't need to look like Grohl you just need to sound like him! (we can fix the looks but not the voice!) obviously you need to play the guitar parts as well - but the main priority is the voice!

We have some major backing behind us targetting the biggest trib band gigs in the UK.

We are looking for a talented singer that has the strength and power that Grohl has.

We are based in Shropshire but applicants are welcome from elsewhere in the UK as long as they are willing to travel.

I do find all the Foo Fighters Trib names pretty amusing must admit. You forgot the Fat Fighters though!
We are actually called The Fooz!
Band has basically relocated and reformed.
Love the humour but any sensible suggestions would be great too!

I find that if you listen to the voices of people who resemble someone well known the voices are very often also quite similar. Probably something to do with head / voice box shape rather than facial features (although skull shape affects features), but I reckon the two are linked in a few ways.

There will always be those that can take off many voices, but as a general point I am surprised at how many times i think i am hearing someone specific but when you actually see who is speaking / singing, it isn't the person you think it is but there are face shape / look similarities.

I was at Reading festival few years back when foos were headlining. Also on the bill in a tent in the afternoon was a band called the ffers, who ended up not getting through their set before getting booed off stage by disgruntled-if-retarded foo fans who’d turned up for a what they thought was a secret foos show.
