I don't drink, but sometimes have alcohol free and that blue erdinger one is interesting. Think it says isotonic on the bottle or something like that.
I like the alcohol free pear Kopparberg too. It tastes like pear drops and I don't start shouting and swearing at people after I've had one.
My relatives in Berlin switched to non alcoholic when she was pregnant. They tried everything available, and settled on those two.

I really want to try Skinny Brand lager and Marstons Resolution now!  Looks like Tesco may sell Skinny.

I am a fan of Lucky Saint, not so much the price though.

  • Erdinger. It’s a lovely drink in it’s own right

  • There's a good website, called drydrinker that has a huge selection.

I like the ones by Drop Bear brewing. Perfect for me as I'm on the keto diet. Very low carb, low calorie, and decent tasting. All three they do are great.

Heineken is the only one I've tried because multiple people have recommended it.

Left me feeling psychologically broken and embittered. So just like normal beer but you don't have to wait for the next morning. Very efficient.

I’ve had 3 years almost to the day of not drinking and I love beer. The Estrella isn’t bad.
my favourite alcohol free beer has been Brooklyn Special effects closely followed by Jever Fun.

I also don’t mindHeineken Zero as long as it’s nearly frozen.

the worst is Becks Blu. What were they thinking?

Brewdog Nanny State is quite tasty. 0.5% but low enough in alcohol.
Heineken is OK, but left a weird chemical after taste (so just like the real thing I guess).

Alcohol free Special Brew...no, I made that one up.

  • Brewdog Beers, Punk AF and Nanny State are probably the best l have tried.
Becks Blue is definately the worst..... Its really really horrible.

Drinking non-alcoholic beer is like going down on your sister...

It might taste the same but it's just not right.

That's a quality joke, and now I'm off to brush my teeth.

    Bye!

I'm seeking out lower strength booze for my own health. Late in life I acquired a taste for 10% + Belgian brews. Not really doing myself any favours so have sought out some weaker alternatives.

Brew Dog - Nanny State.. too many hops.

Bavavarian Zero from M&S - quite drinkable. Cheap as well

Luck Saint - Pricey, drinkable for first 1 or 2 then I could stomach no more. ..bizzarely I felt that this one could give you a hangover the following day.

I'm thinking that more effort required in the 2% alcohol range....0 5% us just too difficult to develop taste and drinkability?

  • I've got a couple of Punk AF's on the go tonight, just chillin. I've tried Nanny State before, and I didn't like it. May try it again.

I found that Nanny State worked as a "I need one more drink to finish off a night at home"....as opposed to reaching for a bottle of Leffe. Other than that, the "hopiness" blew my head off

  • I prefer the Brewdog ones or Becks Blue.

Heineken, San Miguel, Budweiser & Peroni are not nice, particularly the Peroni. All seem to have a nasty aftertaste.

Erdinger’s great - 10 weeks tomorrow since I last drank alcohol!

  • So I had two bottles of Wynchwood Dry Neck last night, quite a nice golden beer. Then I had 3 cans of Punk AF as I said before, and I couldn't really tell it was alcohol free. I think that might be a reasonable way to still get something nice to taste at the end of the day, but keeping carbs and calories lower.

    Bye!
