Hummingbird style

I am after a hummingbird style guitar but at the moment a bit strapped. The two that fall into my vurrent budget are the Sigma DM SG5+ and the Epiphone Hummingbird. They both sound very similar to me. Bearing in mind the Sigma is around £200 more (but still in budget) is there much between the Sigma and Epi?

How are the necks on the Sigmas? I played a Gibson Hummingbird a few years back, and the neck was great. Felt like playing an electric guitar almost.
