Description

The classic late 50's Humbucker, made to original vintage specs. Enamel coated winding wire, scatterwound coils, and Alnico 2 magnetics. The Alnico 2 bar provides a more diffused secondary field and behaves as if the magnet is 50 years old. The HV58's are not vacuum processed, as this reduces the natural gaps in the windings and it is these gaps that are the very source of the vintage sound. DCRl: Neck 7.0K Bridge 7.6K

PRS - McCarty Bridge pickup.
Bought new from PRS Europe , now discontinued - I used this in my Les Paul for about a week, but sold that particular guitar on.
This has the old style nickel cover (like the original DGT's), they seem to mark very easily and as a result there are a few slight marks on the cover, but purely cosmetic.
