  • I have one of these in sunburst.
    They are fantastic guitars
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • Is it the sound or ergonomics you're not keen on? Beauty!

  • I have the 1964 Reissue ES-330 and if they are the same '64 neck profile, I'd say they're the perfect in-between of a '59 and '61 and really comfortable to play. I paid the same for mine too and it's worth every penny. Just wish I had the cash to buy this one too!

Yep the neck is very comfortable and the reason I went for this model specifically over other ES335's.... plus it looks way cooler!
