I got fed up with the noise level of the cr*ppy G_Dec junior I play quietly through in the conservatory and picked this up instead. I've a Mad Professor Super Black that I use as a pre-amp on my pedal board and this just supplies the right amount of power.
The only issue I had was my pedals were grounded via the signal cable, so I had to add to ground them to my power supply or turning on any gain pedal came with an unhealthy amount of buzz
