Did you enjoy the '80s? How about the '90s? Do you appreciate a fine perm, guyliner and platform boots on men?

Then buddy, do I ever have a guitar for you! It's big, it's blue and it'll get you all the Girls, Girls, Girls.

Hang on, I think that one was Motley Crue...

This is a magnificent Jackson USA signature model for Def Leppard's workout and high string gauge obsessed lead guitarist, Phil Collen. And oh, it definitely rocks. It could also probably djent too if you asked it nicely and offered it some cocaine to be sampled from a stripper's tits. This is a guitar that will definitely Give Love a Bad Name,

Wait, sorry, that was Bon Jovi.

Anyway it has a quilted maple top in the Barbados beach-level blue that is, for some reason, referred to as chlorine. Quilted maple fingerboard to match. Dimarzio humbucker on the bridge, with a sustainer included, for all manner of squeals and shrieks, frequently sounding similar to the front row at a Def Leppard concert when they played... I don't know. I don't listen to them. Think of one of their hit ballads and say that.

£1495 cash from Southampton, please. I can meet up along the train lines for cost (I think that might have been an actual Def Leppard lyric there. Intertextuality!). Willing to consider trades for guitars (no amps, acoustics or semi-acoustics please). I'm especially fond of Suhr, Mayones and Gibson. I can add cash if you have something super-nice.

Just check out these pictures and think You Could Be Mine!

What? Oh FFS, really?

FUCK YEAH, HANOI ROCKS!

  • Awesome, I assume it makes your shirt magically disappear.

I’d love this, but recently bought a JS so out of GAS funds for a while.

I can neither confirm nor deny that my, frankly, magnificent nipples spontaneously bare themselves while playing this guitar.

Let's put another couple in this thread, rather than opening up another.

So, first up is a Suhr Modern Satin (£1495):

Ridiculously good condition, with 24 stainless steel frets, SSH+, ML, SSV pickups, five way switch and a Gotoh Floyd Rose. Super-versatile, with a great range of sounds and stonking versatility. Comes with a Hiscox hard case.

Alongside that I have a Gibson Les Paul Classic (£1250):

It's a Les Paul. And it's classic. And it's f**king great! Slim '60s neck profile, with aged inlays. Has some buckle rash and some minor dings, but nothing that you're going to notice without close inspection. Comes with the original hard case (which has some wear and tear, but that's what they're there for).

Willing to consider trades, but no amps, semi-acoustics or acoustics please. I have cash to offer on top for anything really nice.

This is true. You need to stop looking and buy one! A wine red one! With aged inlays!

I wonder what manner of man... Nay, SUPERMAN, could possibly have such a precious thing though...
