Finally getting this build where I want it - it sat with its new color on for a while, but I'm close to finishing it off today - need to wire it up, obviously, but I like the new look.

Well, it’s true. 9 times out of 10 when somebody decides to tweak one of those classic designs they completely screw up the proportionality and flow of the overall shape and it ends up looking wrong, like bad taxidermy.

I've said before, I absolutely love that guitar. My initial thought was that I preferred the sonic blue, but after reading through that other thread & seeing the dark cola again I think it's the best look of the three
