The Strat, definitely. Sunburst is boring. Sure, the refin won’t increase the value of the Strat, but it shouldn’t harm it either if it is done properly.

I'd get the strat done in the gold/pink paisley finish if it was me, mainly because it is much less attractive than your TVL Jazzmaster. If I had the cash I'd definitely buy an SC Relics Jazzmaster body like the one in his photo. It's just beautiful.

Used to have 2 Jazzmasters each side.  Simply for aesthetic reasons

***exciting update***

For all the well-meaning 'get a tele' brigade: I've had about 10 teles over the years and ended up moving every single one of them on.  Not my thang.  No idea why.  It's one of these 2 bad boys for the Extreme Makeovers job.
