SORTED Fender Custom Shop Strat

I've finally managed to put enough cash together to pick one of these up. I tried the more modern feeling strat type route and it just didn't work out for me, so going back to what I know.

I prefer chunkier style necks, don't mind relicing (though not heavy), rosewood board is a must, don't mind HSS configurations. Colour wise just don't offer me black!! From what I've seen about i like the looks of the 63 red with tortoise pickguard at guitaguitar, and there's a 59 heavy relic Sherwood green on ebay (I really like sherwood green)

 I have just over £2k-ish, so please get in touch if you are looking to move one on. With it being lockdown in Wales, postage is going to have to be the way forward for the time being

This ought to be an excellent guitar.  I bought a nos one from GG and it's excellent.  CoffeeHouse are great to deal with too.

The heavy relic one on Ebay at £3,495 was bought brand new by the seller a couple of weeks ago in the PMT sale for, I think, £2,395. You might be comfortable with that, you might not.

IMHO that Coffee Shop one is about £400 overpriced too.

Plenty come up for sale if you're prepared to wait. Often need to act quickly when they do come up though before the bedroom dealers snag them.

Thanks guys. I'd seen the one on PMT a few months ago but I wasn't on a position to do anything about it. I won't be paying anywhere near what he is asking.

The coffeehouse one is very nice, and I'd agree with you @Hattigol on the price. I'm willing to wait if the right thing isn't around at the right price, there's no point rushing a purchase like this, even if it means that I currently don't have a guitar to play

Well its a 2013 63 Fiesta Red Strat for £2500.

Thanks bud, not found a CS yet. I tried a silver sky (big JM fan) but that was a waste of time. I've just picked up a 52 thinkskin tele (I know, not what I was looking for originally, but almost identical to a custom shop nocaster I had) so we shall see how that goes
