For sale is my Fender Custom Shop Ltd Journeyman Relic Tomatillo Strat 2018. Full spec on the shop floor traveller in the photos. Plenty of YouTube videos of these to watch, including a great one from Peach, and they sound immense.

I picked this up from this forum for a bargain price. I had wanted a tomatillo Strat for a long time and was waiting for one to come up second hand, so jumped on this as soon as it was advertised. It's 100% my favourite strat ever. It has a big rich tone but still has all that sparkle and bell-like chime. There is a lovely flame on the neck. It plays like a dream and the relic work is probably the best I have seen. Includes COA and case candy.

So if it's so good then why am I selling? I'm a tele guy at heart and just prefer teles.

Happy to offer this for exactly what I paid for it, which was £2,200.

You can't worry about other resellers, if one sets a price and gets it then one should be happy. Dealers can sit on stuff for years if they need to.

No matter what I think of the guy, which is very, very little, he can do whatever he wants with it now that he’s bought it. 

The question is how do we stop these people from buying our guitars?

The 20% off is just... completely cynical lol.

Yes, that's why I'm so confused, or incredibly naive. I have to point out that this was a gumtree sale.

Anyway, it is an amazing guitar that deserves to be played.

They all pose as players looking for that bargain. It pulls on the heart strings and you are much more likely to sell to them for a slightly reduced price. Unfortunately it likely wont be played by anyone for years as most of his guitars seem to be longer term investments.

On the positive side though, you have some cash with which to buy a new guitar that WILL get played!

Already bought it.... 

A Suhr Alt T in Olympic White with Rosewood board and SSV pickups. Couldn't be happier (for now ha ha).
