Listening to it on Spotify right now. Really liking the album - although only a couple of songs in.

I read a review that mentioned it was closer in style to For Those About to Rock and Flick of the Switch - which I'd agree with so far.

That's exactly what I was going to comment with; some pretty tasty riffs in these tunes. The backing vocals seem to stand out a lot more as well; it's kind of a 'modern' version of AC/DC.

I’ve got my CD sitting on my desk and it’s copied onto the Sonos for later. It arrived at 8:45 today from Amazon. Can’t wait to listen to it, but I’ve got work to sort first. Then it’s on!

I haven't heard it yet, but I've just had a shock realising that Rock or Bust was released in 2014 and Black Ice in 2008.  God, time goes so fast nowadays.

One listen? I would argue that the best albums need a few spins before you really start to get into them. This is my favourite AC/DC album in a long while. A great tribute to Malc, I think they really put the effort in on this one. I have listened to it a dozen times and it gets better every time. The riffs, Brian's singing, the production, the backing 'growls', it's so good.

Love them, but this album wasn’t for me. Brian’s constant screeching wore me down, plus the songs are mediocre at best.

I completely disagree. Brain screeches on every album, so what's different haha? Which Johnson era albums would you rate higher?
