@Paul_C you need another pickup on the black one. I think you are missing some tone options.

Since I sold my old Wal Custom all I have is my heavily-gigged (and great-sounding) P-Bass, but I'm on the lookout for an Epiphone EB-0 if anyone has one they want to sell.

Currentlty down to a 2005 AVRI 62 reissue P bass, a Starforce `82 PJ, a weird little Gear4Music small body/ standard scale and my keeper, a prototype Epiphone Explorer with factory fitted Precision pickup and later modified by me to have one of the earliest EMG P/J sets. I was originally given it by a buddy at Gibson in Nashville. Never went into production, which is a shame. Neck is that ideal size & shape in between a P and a J. Got it in 1982 or 3 and it has been my go-to ever since.  I may have to post some piccies.... There`s even a thumbnail dent right through the finish & the wood  next to the thumb rest.

EDIT: Aargh! Forgot my prized Bassix EUB! It is apparently a Jazza according to the chap who made it, but nothing like any other Jazza I have ever seen.  Again I should post piccies I suppose.

You have to click on the "Image URL" icon in the post's toolbar, paste the image's URL (I do "View Image" to get the image's URL and copy it from the address bar), and then press the down-arrow key (pressing Enter doesn't work).

eg. I bought this a faker couple of weeks ago.

Couple of weeks I got a Yamaha BB1200PH - Peter Hook Signature. Possibly the best bass I've owned. Huge sustain, very articulate, the neck is a joy to play. Love it.

Here’s my humble bass set up, reminds me of simpler times of owning a “guitar and amp” when I was 13 - before the wormholes and financial ruin of gear minutia kicked in.
