Solid mic stand recommendation

spending time doing vocal duties in a 5 piece and want a purchase once high quality  boom stand .

any must considers n must avoids ?

K&M have never disappointed me. Something like a 210/2 will do the job.

The only reason to go heavier duty than that is if you're suspending really high value mics where you'd actually have to hold back tears if someone bodyslammed it onto the floor.

These are excellent. I bought one for gigging in my band. It was still going strong after about 2 years before lockdown hit.

K&M. Solid and more important they could be repaired with available parts if you ever needed to. I have some nearing 20 years regular service. Pack them well to keep them looking nice.

I’m sure that mine’s a K&M boom stand. Nice solid build with strong hinge mechanism. Has spent several years living in a bag with the lighting stands without sustaining any damage. It takes a mic and an iPad and remains stable.

K&M are great and industry standard. Beyerdynamic mic stands are also made by K&M and equally good. That's what you'll find on most pro stages. I hear good things about Gravity too.
