This is the 66th solo of the Month (SotM) Challenge.

Extended for another month. The new deadline is midnight 24th January 2021

The backing track has some headroom to add your solos. Add your solo and (as a guideline) try to avoid boosting the overall level beyond that if possible. That way the entries should be at roughly the same level and we won't get into loudness wars.

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline, with each voter selecting their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.

First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point

The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends.

No prizes. It's just for fun.

Yes it's 105 which happens to be the tempo of the previous SotM, which is why I thought it might be a copy and paste error. I'll put it down to a combination of errors.

I've corrected the tempo in the original post.

I'll try to remember for next year. Anyway Xmas is cancelled this year. Maybe we can have a late Xmas bash in the summer (all going well).

After a quick PM exchange with @Bellycaster I've decided to extend this one for another month. There are only two entries and and I expect people will be busy thinking about Xmas.

The new deadline is midnight 24th January 2021.

Sorry, haven’t had a chance this month.  Wife and Dad in hospital has lead to a less that easy build up to crimbo. (Both on the mend now though thankfully)

Sorry to hear that. Hope they're both better soon. 

It's been a hard build up to Xmas for me and my family. My mother died after a long illness. It was her funeral yesterday. A very sad and emotional time but she was 89, very ill and wanted to go, so it was a release as well.

Sorry to hear that. It’s a really tough thing at anytime but at the moment it must be even worse.  Thoughts are with you and your family. 

Also, just wanted to say thanks for keeping SotM going. I haven’t managed to submit as many entries as I’d have liked but I always enjoy it when I do. I’ll definitely do better in 2021. 

Thanks as well to those that have prepped the backing tracks. They always stretch me and encourage me to try new things. I really appreciate the time and effort.
