I was lying awake at 6am today thinking how best to cut the chamfer on the headstock. I had been planning on using a sanding wheel freehand but now think I'll make a jig and use a 30° bit.
I'd better make some dummy headstocks to practice that bit!
(in case anyone's wondering, I used a 6" diameter sanding drum in my electric drill)
and glued the fretboard
The neck is now pretty beefy, from 24mm deep at the first fret to 27mm at the 15th. I'm going to have to slim it down I reckon.

It reads only 15nF but it should work okay.

That's it until paint and that probably won't be before the spring.

I'm pretty sure the pitch will be fine, I measured it enough times(!) but as I used rabbit skin glue it should be easy enough to reset if needs be. The glue was messy to use though.
Next job is to remove the protruding bit of heel. Is a router best? I might just plane/scrape it off.
There we go:
Now that's done, I'll string up and position the bridge...
Final sand and paint next!
that P90 cover looks great on it
I've got nowhere to spray here so I might just see if I can borrow a friend's booth for an afternoon.
I couldn't resist stringing it and having a quick play. The neck angle is as low as possible. I don't think I could have got away with it any lower:
