It reminds me a bit of my favourite slide tuning for guitar - EBEEBE. The radically different tension between the two middle Es makes a very interesting sound.
Someone once brought me a Washburn 5-string which the neck was badly bowed on - the relief was literally about half an inch. He'd tuned it EADGC using a standard string set . Slightly to my surprise, just re-tuning it correctly and adjusting the truss rod fixed it.
