The Festive "Production Challenge"

Morning my budding Rick Rubins...

This is a bit of a different challenge for you to get your hands on.

Mrs @CMW335 has recorded a vocal of "Hallelujah" and without her knowing about it @CMW335 has sent them to us to issue a challenge...

Now for the rules...

You can change anything you want except for the main vocal track!!!!!!

you can Jeff Buckley all you want or create a full EDM backing... the choice is yours but you must keep the vocal.......

Send your masterpieces as an mp3 to mix@thefretboard.co.uk 

Voting will start soon after the submission deadline of 31st Jan 2021 with each voter selecting 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice.

First choice gets 5 points - Second choice gets 3 points - Third choice gets 1 point

The order and scores of the top three entries will be announced soon after the voting ends. If there are 8 or more entries, then the order and scores of those in the top half will be announced.

Thanks @poopot ; this started out as a request for some help to replace a karaoke backing track with something more interesting and credible so looking forward to seeing what comes of it. Also want to thank @poopot who has been an absolute gent in helping with this and other tracks and queries I have with complete enthusiasm and generosity. To me this kind of interaction is what the forum is all about and where the real community spirit exists so huge thanks @poopot ;

p.s. My wife really will kill me if she finds out about this!!!

Yup, and nope.  Got so far through and then other personally more important projects moved to the fore.

Will see if I get some time to have a crack before deadline.
