Black Moth were one of them. A fantastic British band who made three excellent albums, before sadly splitting on 2019. They're often described as stoner metal, but I think there's something a bit more modern and alternative about them.
I'm actually interested in hearing that Valentine album.
Is it on Spotify?

Oddly enough this came up on House of Games tonight. Who says this forum isn't educational?
Lately it's been this a lot, especially Madrigal Meridian.

The Appleseed Cast - Antihero
one of the greatest albums 1980 had to offer for sure.

A couple of years ago they did a session with OurVinyl, and recently I've come across some really decent sounding bands via the OurVinyl YouTube channel.
So this week I 'ave been mostly listening to:
The Sheepdogs - it's possible I will need to buy their entire back catalogue, they sound awesome! Why did I not know about these guys already?!
St. Paul and the Broken Bones - I was vaguely aware of these guys already but glad it focused my attention. They're playing Bristol on Thursday and now I'm wondering if I can somehow get to the gig.
The California Honeydrops - again, much back catalogue investigation required.
Oh, and Handsome Jack, of course! I already own everything they've ever done.
There's a piece of Nerina in every song that I sing
Bit of trading feedback here.
