This laptop was bought from PC World last year in the spring to replace a laptop for my mother that she said didn't work. Off to the store I went to pick it up then off on a train to the West Country to give it to her only to find that her non-working laptop wasn't working because she hadn't got the bloody cable stuffed far enough into the power brick. Sigh.

So my parents gave me this laptop. It did some useful things. Sadly it has a little issue. Every now and then you will find that the 0, P, and colon keys won't work. You have to press down harder to get things working. Everything else is absolutely fine. I've just done a clean format of Windows 10 which I suggest the new user does when they get it so they can stick in their own details (finally bought myself a USB3 memory stick for OS installation - bloody hell it's quick).

Laptop specs; 4GB memory, 128GB SSD, Intel i3-8130u. Screen is in really good condition. Some very light key rub on the screen that I can't get a decent picture of (it's restricted to a very very thin line on the screen). Case/chassis is in decent shape.

Would I use this as a travel laptop? No. It's nowhere near as sturdy as my much loved Acer CB3-431 Chromebook which has survived four professional kitchens, hundreds of miles in rucksacks, and several sessions strapped to a bike. Nor would I use it as a bounce around at home lounge laptop to watch Game of Breaking Badness or whatever.

Where it could be useful is somewhere permanent where it won't be moved. Garage laptop? It'd be good for that, maybe even for home demos. The i3 is more than powerful enough to run Ableton and do basic recording (it did shit the bed with some u-He synths though). You could just use it as a streaming device in the workshop as the IPS screen is actually very good.

So with the issue in mind and the fact that I paid sod all for this and because I'm feeling charitable having given £50 to one of my chefs tonight, because he's broke and his mental health is in the toilet, let's do this for £125 via PPG plus whatever the delivery is.
