Sorry I'm a bit out the loop effects wise as I haven't really had any urge to buy since lockdown curtailed activities last year. However we are now battening down the hatches for Lockdown2021 chez moi, and as the room where all my gear resides has been turned in to my daughter's bedroom (while she lockdown's with us), I'd like to buy something cheap, portable and cheerful to use in the kitchen.
I'm looking for cheap, includes basic amp modelling, and useable with headphones or possibly built in audio interface. I enjoyed the first Zoom G3 back in the day, so might consider the latest version of this - what else is worth checking out in the say sub £200 price bracket?

But my favourite one doesn't contain amp modelling .
The GT-1 does though, and has USB.

Disappointed to here Mooer disappointment - the GE150 seems like a good fit.
Will check out other suggestions.
Hmmm...
HX Stomp users - do you find just 3 footswitches limiting?
I play in a covers band and like to use several patches.
Snapshots are great and I could live with them except that when you are in snapshot mode changing to other patches is a pain.
It can be done, but involves stepping on 2 footswitches simultaneously. I've only used it at rehearsal but found myself fat footing it and ending up on the wrong patch. It's then a nightmare to figure out what happend and sort it.
I wouldn't want to be doing that at a gig so have a midi board on the way to give me more control.
You can have 2 external footswitches which would help but I wanted to use an expression pedal and you can't have both.
Love the unit but yes, I do find 3 footswitches limiting.
Considering my pedal habits, last year I bought one pedal (LT). Really did cover every pedal need. This year with the GO, maybe pedalboard time will happen again.
I was after something portable and affordable to use for headphone practice while travelling and home recording and it fits the bill pretty well. I'm happy with the build quality and the controls are intuitive and easy to use (I hate having to fiddle with screens for ages when I just want to set up and play!). It's not going to be part of my live rig so that wasn't a concern for me.
Sound wise I suppose it's not going to match a Kemper/Helix etc, but I picked it up for just under 200 notes on Amazon and it sounds fine for what I need.
