I take it its a modded mexican vintera roadworn type at that price ?

I think that’s really nice and quite unique it being a 65 - makes a subtle change! Pick guard is awful for sure.

That what’s I thought but the specs say rosewood board?

Here's a 'Lame to Fame'.....I had her original Tele's case in the workshop last year....and being a Herefordian, a Pretenders fan and nerd...I had to take a pic!

My friend knew Honeyman-Scott a little bit when he worked in Buzz Music in Hereford prior to becoming a Pretender. He has ( or had anyway) a receipt he’d held onto with HS’s signature on it. 

In interview Hynde always claims to know nothing about music theory and gear but she’s pretty effortless around the fretboard and not exactly a slouch at song writing so I’m not entirely sure I completely believe her.

The original is a 61. Fender knows this because they scanned it. Doh.

I *think* the circular blotch in the photos isn't actually there on the guitar. I think its a weird artefact of them not being able to photograph a chrome/mirror scratchplate "face on". There's a few other photos online that don't feature it. 

If the weird blotch *isn't* there then I think it looks great.

Probably the most painfully bright guitar sound I've ever experienced.
