Twin neck conversion

Playing in a guitar duo I sometimes find myself wanting to play both bass and guitar fills - so I decided to convert a 6 string that doesn't get used often and a bass into a twin neck guitar. It also lets me tell Mrs AustrianJohn that I've reduced my guitar count by one.

The jack for the bass is in the middle of the body, with a new small cavity routed which allows space for a single volume pot. Electrics for the 6 string is as before - three way switch plus single volume and single tone.

The strip added between the two bodies was to allow the two different contours to blend more easily. The 6 string body is wenge, and I guess the bass is ash, so needed a dark stain to match. I then reshaped the 6 string headstock and painted stripes on the bass headstock to make them match.

I may add on/off switches to both parts as the neck not being played can be a bit noisy.
